A word from Patrice Iseli, Head of Sports, City of Lausanne

As the Olympic capital, we are very proud to welcome the City Events conference from this year on. This new meeting place aiming at connecting ambitious host cities with the world of international sport had to be organised here.

Indeed, by taking part in City Events, participants will be guaranteed to meet the Federations' decision makers, since they are all based here.

With more than 50 international sports organisations located in the region, Lausanne and the State of Vaud truly are the center of international sport. Our tagline says it all: we are the "Home of International Sport". It was natural for us to host City Events this year, and, we hope, for many years to come.

Indiana Sports Corporation, ASO-Tour de France, UEFA, European Athletics, Qatar Olympic Committee, World Sports Group, Extreme 40, Mod70, IEC in Sports, Gauteng Provence (South Africa), City of Gwangju (KOR), UN Office for Sport for Development and Peace, the Extreme Sport Company, and featuring representatives from most international sports federations based in Lausanne.
