Dunkerque 2010 conference: Delivering Sustainable Cities Dear colleagues, We have the pleasure to invite you to the 6th European Sustainable Cities and Towns Conference, being held on the 19 - 21 May in Dunkerque, France.
Dunkerque 2010 will explore how sustainable development can help local governments to face the current economic, social and climate challenges and how it can be further implemented in the current context of crisis. During this major conference, mayors and high-level business representatives will have an unprecedented chance for face-to-face discussion on how to better cooperate towards eco-efficient cities and sustainable communities. The event will also convene key representatives of European institutions and international organisations to deliver a political message on climate and the wider local sustainability agenda ahead of COP 16 in Mexico and the Earth Summit 2012 in Rio de Janeiro.
