Each commune, city and region has a rich experience with preparing waste management strategies and environmental policies and know the difficulties of introducing them into practice.

By this we can together have the opportunity to learn from our success and search for answers to these questions:

  • How to approach the preparation of waste management concepts and environmental policies?
  • What are (or should be) the main objectives and goals of environmental policy and strategy?
  • What are the real results and contributions of respective conceptual solutions?
  • How demanding are they financially and as far as their organization is concerned?
  • How to include the public into the preparation and realization of waste management projects and environmental policies?
  • What are the main conceptual solutions in the area of waste management?
  • What are the limitations by introducing the respective waste management systems?

We are aware of the fact that this is a wide and often controversial theme. That is why we think it is important to create space for in depth discussion among experts. Only through open exchange of experiences we can find suitable solutions.

We would be pleased to welcome you at the conference and give you opportunity to acquaint with actual findings and to share knowledge with participating experts and other conferees and guests.

We believe that meeting with your colleagues and partners will inspire you and help you to solve your own professional tasks and duties.

We look forward to meeting with you.
