The aim of the conference is to bring together policy makers, decision makers, technical support and innovative solutions in the field of multi-modal mobility with a special link to public transport operators, government officials, ITS/IPTS providers and public and private institutions.

You are invited to submit an abstract of 250 words for the IPTS Conference. Submission will start on 25 August 2007 and end on 15 October 2007.

All abstracts should be original and focus on the newest research results and technical achievements. Authors are responsible for notifying the conference organizers if any material has already been published, and for obtaining copyright releases where applicable.

You can submit abstracts for a technical paper for the Workshop Programme or an academic paper for the Paper Presentation Programme. Technical papers should focus on the development, deployment or evaluation of IPTS. They will be reviewed by a set of international reviewers of the IPTS Conference Committee. The abstracts will be reviewed blindly and will either be accepted or suggestions for improvement will be provided. In this case the abstract can be re-submitted. The names(s) of the author(s) and their affiliation and position will be provided separate from the abstract, to allow for blind reviewing. The abstracts will be numbered.

A paper will not be accepted if it is too commercial or includes advertising. Academic papers should concentrate on research and academic aspects of public transport projects. They will be reviewed by a panel of international experts according to the academic journal standards. Research and good practices related to the Passenger Experience in particular are invited.

After successfully submitting an abstract, you will receive an acknowledgment by e-mail. But this does not mean that your paper has been accepted! As soon as the abstract has been reviewed you will be informed and requested to submit your full academic or technical paper.

Abstracts will be reviewed and main authors will be notified of their paper status by 25 October 2007.
