The 6th International Conference on Pedestrian and Evacuation Dynamics will be held from June 6th to June 8th 2012 at the Institute for Transport Planning and Systems (IVT) of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ).
PED 2012 Call for Papers and Posters - Submission deadline quickly approaching
This is a call for both papers and posters presenting research on the topics listed on the homepage or related areas. Posters and papers will be considered separately. The conference proceedings will include both full papers as well as written submissions from accepted posters. Papers and posters presenting recent work on major practical planning projects are also welcome. The projects should involve the latest pedestrian research findings.
Deadline for submission of abstracts will be November 15th 2011.
Abstract submission is available here
All submissions are going to be reviewed by the members of the programme committee. If a submission gets accepted (notifications are going to be sent in January 2012), the final paper is due by March 2012. Please submit abstracts for both posters and papers online through the web form (http://www.ped2012.org/call_submission/abstract_submission). Since the number of presentations is limited, you will be given the opportunity to prepare a poster instead, if we receive more paper abstracts than available presentation time slots.
Requirements
Poster abstracts should cover about one page (400 - 500 words), paper abstracts about two pages (800 - 1000 words) in standard English. Detailed layout guidelines for authors will be published on this website after the submission deadline for the delivery of the full papers and short papers respectively.
